Van Der Linde Attorneys was founded by Justin van der Linde, our director and practising attorney, who holds a LL.B degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg). Shannon Nelmes
Legal Practitioner
Shannon holds a LLB degree from UNISA and has been an admitted attorney for 6 years. Throughout her tenure, she has amassed considerable experience in civil law and litigation matters, encompassing debt review and collection, interdict procurement, eviction handling, drafting contracts and inter-vivos trusts.
In addition to her extensive knowledge in family law and litigation, she has demonstrated an exceptional ability to oversee a diverse range of cases, including but not limited to divorce and Children’s Court proceedings, maintenance disputes, and the establishment of wills and testaments.
Henri Uys
Legal Practitioner
Henri earned his LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in July 2020, and subsequently completed the School for Legal Practice program through Enterprises University of Pretoria. In April 2022, he was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He is also an accredited mediator.
Since August 2020, Henri has gained extensive experience in various legal fields, including debt collection, family law, criminal law, and general civil law. He has also appeared in a variety of courts for a range of matters.
Henri’s passion for justice inspired him to pursue a career in law. He considers it a privilege to make a positive impact in the lives of others through his work, whether it involves assisting in criminal or civil matters.

Veronica is a seasoned Legal Assistant with over 16 years of experience in the field with extensive knowledge in all administrative tasks, including scheduling and correspondence, making Veronica a valuable team member.
Having held various legal and business positions, Veronica has honed her skills and can adapt to the needs of different clients. She pursued further education while working as a Legal Assistant at the National Prosecuting Authority and obtained a Diploma in Business Management from Southern Business School, with Records Management as her major.
